Sword Hunter Progression Guide: Core Loop, Starting Order & Early Milestones
How Sword Hunter's core loop works — defeat Monsters, turn Loot into Cash, merge Swords, and bank offline Loot — with a practical starting order for new hunters and the early sword, pet, and area milestones reported for September 2026.
Quick answer
Sword Hunter runs one repeating loop: defeat Monsters, collect the Loot they drop, convert Loot into Cash, and spend Cash at your Base to upgrade and merge Swords into stronger weapons. Pets add power, and your Swords keep collecting Loot even while you're offline.
- Controls: E - Attack, R - Toggle Auto Attack, F - Select Sword
- The game's own description lists the pillars: explore the Open World, hatch and collect powerful Pets, defeat Monsters and turn Loot into Cash, and merge Swords to unlock stronger ones
- Your Swords collect Loot offline — return to your Base to upgrade and merge them
- The published arc: explore new areas, defeat stronger Monsters, collect rare Pets, and become more powerful
Sword Hunter is a free Roblox incremental simulator by Blade Evolution Tycoon, and every system feeds the same loop. One version note: current versions of the game description open with "Co-op Raids are HERE!", while older cached copies still read "Co-op Raids are coming soon!" — raids arrived in a post-launch update, so check in-game what your version offers.
Starting progression order: the first loop a new hunter should run
Roadmap
- 1
Claim working codes first
Start with free Cash, boosts, Pet Eggs, and a sword instead of the bare starter kit.
- Open the codes hub and claim cash, eggs, luck, and a free sword from the Store box before they expire.
- There is no gating — you can redeem codes the very first time you log in; the MONEY code alone was shown paying 50K Cash.
- 2
Start with the stick on the starting islands
Hunt monsters across the tropical islands and turn Loot into Cash.
- Walk to the nearest pack the stick can actually damage.
- Toggle auto-attack on with R and stay inside the pack instead of chasing stragglers across the beach.
- 3
Fight a pack you can actually kill
Farm steady Loot rather than dying to oversized targets.
- Keep the cycle tight: select sword, auto-attack a killable pack, convert Loot, merge or park.
- Don't rush the big target — the giant gorilla will still be there when the blade is ready.
- 4
Convert and merge
Turn Loot into Cash, then Cash into a stronger sword.
- Loot drops, you convert Loot to Cash, and Cash is what merges cost at the Base.
- Merge duplicate swords into the next tier instead of hoarding them.
- 5
Slot pets in without derailing
Add pet power on the side, never at the cost of the merge run.
- Break for E Catch whenever a wolf, slime, gorilla, or bird you want appears.
- Do not portal into a new area just to pet hunt unless your sword can already survive there.
- 6
Park before logging off
Make offline time pay.
- Park your sword before you log off so the next session starts with cash, not with a blank island.
Codes as a loop accelerant: what they give, where to redeem, and what they pay
Tips
Why codes speed up the loop
Redeeming codes gets you Chests, Cash, loot, stat boosters, and Pet Eggs — all integral to progression. Money helps you upgrade and merge at your base, a pet egg can hatch a helper for later fights, luck and cash boosts make loot feel better when you knock down monsters, and a free sword means you start the hunt with something nicer than the tiny starter blade.
How to redeem
Launch Sword Hunter on Roblox, click the Store button on the left side of the screen, find the Enter Code box at the bottom of the Store menu, enter an active code exactly as shown, and click Redeem.
Reported September 2026 rewards
MONEY = 50K Cash; WELCOME = 2x Money Boost (30 mins); LIKES100 = 50K Cash + 50 kg Loot; LUCKY = Instant Smelt (10 mins) + 2x Luck Boost (20 mins); SWORD = Valor Sword; PICKLE = Pickle Sword; NEWPET = Pet Egg; LIKE1000 = Pet Egg + 500 kg Loot; UPDATE = Imperial Chest + 3x Money Boost (30 mins); 2KCCU / 1KCCU = Demon Chest + 2M Cash; UPDATE2 = Gold Frog Egg + Instant Smelt (10 mins) + 2M Cash. Codes coverage also shows WORLD2 = 5 Tickets plus other rewards, and SORRYGUYS = an Egg, 2M Cash, and 2x Money.
Codes expire — and some values are reported inconsistently
These are third-party-reported, time-limited rewards: codes expire after updates or likes goals, and a few code values are currently reported differently between code pages, so treat any list as a starting point and check what actually lands in your account. New codes tend to show up alongside updates, milestones, and special events — a September 23, 2026 update note reported four new codes offering Tickets, Eggs, Cash, 2x Money, and other rewards — and the official Discord is where announcements land. Recheck after every update.
Loot-to-Cash mechanics: mistakes that stall the loop
Mistakes to avoid
- Problem
- Farming Loot but never converting it
- Fix
- Loot is typically earned by defeating enemies with your Sword and can be converted into Cash; Cash is the main currency, and at the base it's what merges cost.
- Problem
- Ignoring boosts
- Fix
- Luck boosts improve the drop chances of high-rarity items and loot, while Money boosts increase your Cash earnings — both make each farm pass pay more.
- Problem
- Skipping Chests and Pet Eggs
- Fix
- Chests can be opened for a random Sword, each with a unique statline — the higher the stats, the more powerful you will be. Pet Eggs go into incubators, gestate until they're ready, and the hatched pets increase your stats so enemies go down more easily.
- Problem
- Logging off with your sword idle
- Fix
- Your Swords collect Loot offline and your hunter keeps collecting while you're away — leave the sword working so downtime funds your next merge.
- Problem
- Missing free multipliers
- Fix
- Observed sessions show a daily reward paying 531 cash in one and "$500 for free" in another, "raining cash" server events that boost cash income, and group membership adding plus 20% income with a friend boost also present — claim them when they're up.
- Problem
- Expecting fixed offline rates
- Fix
- Only that Swords collect Loot offline is stated by the game itself; accumulation rates and caps aren't published, so treat offline income as a bonus and check your total when you return.
Sword milestones: stick start, first buys, first merges, tier climb
You start with a stick. Codes can replace it right away — the reported free swords are the Valor Sword from SWORD and the Pickle Sword from PICKLE, so you can start the hunt with something nicer than the tiny starter blade.
Observed first buys and merges at the Base: one session shows a first sword bought for about a dollar, Loot converted, and the dragon fed for Cash (about $8 at that stage), followed by buying more swords and merging three into a better one. The wake-up call came when a level 11 fox took zero damage from the fresh hunter and eliminated them — the fix was to farm reachable slimes, feed the dragon ($12), buy more swords, and merge them, producing a tier 2 sword.
The observed tier climb from there: a "free upgrade" at the Base produced a tier two sword, feeding the dragon funded more purchases, a Chest opened into a saber, and the run continued to tier four and later tier five, with the loot multiplier increasing as tiers rose.
Beyond merges, Chests give access to a random Sword with its own statline, and code swords arrive through the Store box. Structurally, updates extend the ladder: a new sword tier is another merge rung, and the community wiki frames new tiers plus the New Area Adventure update as the push toward Rank 999.
Pet milestones: first egg, hatching, E Catch, and pet growth
Pets come from two places: eggs you hatch and creatures you catch in the world with the E Catch prompt. A fox or wolf is not a paid requirement in this free Roblox simulator — pets are extra power and extra company while you farm cash for the next merge. Code eggs add more on top: NEWPET = Pet Egg, LIKE1000 = Pet Egg + 500 kg Loot, and NEW = 1 Frog Egg in the reported table. Mechanically, Pet Eggs go into incubators and gestate until they're ready to hatch.
The observed first pet: the tutorial prompts you to attack to get an egg, the starting slimes dropped it, hatching took about 10 seconds, and it produced a slime pet — a "brier slime" in one session, a "sky slime" in another hunter's first egg. Observed growth: pets gain levels from kills (one slime hit level six mid-session), a golden egg took about 10 minutes to hatch, and evolving a pet increases its tier. Sessions also show a B-tier "Blair Slime" hatch and a free rainbow egg granted by the gift box for liking the game, favoriting it, and joining the group.
Area unlocks and the end goal: stronger Monsters, Rank 999
The published arc is to explore new areas, defeat stronger Monsters, collect rare Pets, and become more powerful — and you start that arc hunting monsters across the tropical islands with the stick. The gate on portals is gear, not level: do not portal into a new area just to pet hunt unless your sword can already survive there. Play shows the cost of ignoring it — a level 11 fox eliminated a fresh hunter doing zero damage, and level 60+ boars were left alone ("these are level 60 and above, so I don't think I stand a chance").
Sword Hunter launched July 31, 2026, and the loop — hunt, Loot to Cash, merge, pets, offline Loot — has been the same since launch. Updates so far have added a new sword tier and a New Area Adventure, and a new area is another farm. Rank 999 is the named end goal; its requirements and rewards aren't documented, so treat it as the destination rather than a checklist.
One community wiki also suggests route bands — early stacks on the tropical islands and beach, mid stacks on cave packs and gorilla routes, endgame stacks on volcano islands and the boss — but treat that as a suggested route rather than verified route data, and check each portal in-game before committing. Co-op doesn't change the route: the farm-monsters loop is the same with a friend — select a sword with F, auto-attack with R, convert Loot, walk home, merge.
